Calling All Heros Corner Pop-up Birthday Card!

Hi, Friends,
This card is one I made for a family member; I have kind of spoiled my family and try to make a "special" fold or something extra on their cards.  Here is the outside of the card:

and the inside:

and the "open" view:

The card winds up with a little pocket on the bottom that is perfect for a gift card (see above picture).   The "Happy Birthday" panel is adhered to the card base only on the top triangle of the panel.  I put a small velcro dot at the bottom to hold it in place when it stands up.  Here is a picture that shows the "moving" side:

And this shows how it looks closed up:

My recipe for this card:

     Flashback DSP:  3-3/8 x 3-3/8 (3)

So Very Happy Belly Band Card!

Today I am sharing with you a card I made this weekend.  I used directions for the card that I received from Angela Waters, revised the dimensions so that I could make a 4-1/4" square card, and CASED the colors, layout and stamp set from a card I saw designed by Amy O'Neill (amyoneillblog.com) post dated October 18, 2014.

The belly band slips off, and the card opens like this:

It would be fun to add a small pocket to the inside of this card and use it as a gift card holder!  I also thought about using the Letterpress Winter stamp set and the Snowflake Card framelit to make a Christmas/winter version.

Here is my recipe:

STAMPS:  So Very Happy, Four You

CARDSTOCK:
Pool Party:  6-3/4 x 6-3/4, punch and score @ 3-3/8 on all sides with the EPB
     Hello Honey:  3-3/4 x 3-3/4 (2)
     Whisper White:  3-5/8 x 3-5/8 (2)
     Blackberry Bliss:  1-3/4 x 9-1/2
     Moonlight DSP:  1-1/4 x 6-1/2 (2)

Starburst Sayings Fancy Fold Birthday Card!

Today I am sharing with you a card I made back in May:

The inside of the card looks like this:

and the back side looks like this:

I followed a tutorial by Bekka Prideaux, www.feeling-crafty.blogspot.com.  I started with a 5-1/4  x 12 piece of cardstock.  Punch the Scallop Tag Topper punch at the middle of both ends of the card stock.  The layers for my card are 2-1/4 x 5 and and 2-1/8 x 4-7/8.  I used Island Indigo for my card base, and Gingham Garden DSP (now retired), Pear Pizzazz card stock, Melon Mambo cardstock, Daffodil Delight card stock, and Whisper White card stock.  Some of the stamps and the ribbon are also retired now.  Please see the other products I used below!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy stampin and scrappin,
Linda
