BIRD’S EYE VIEW PLAY DAY PROJECT!

 Hi, Friends,

Today I have another July Play Day project for you.  This one uses the Bird’s Eye View stamp set and Radiating Stitches Dies.  The Radiating Stitches Dies are another Online Exclusive that you won’t find in the catalog.  Go to stampinup.com and search for Online Exclusives.  Here is my card:

It is a bit different fold, the card base is 4-1/4 x 9-3/4, scored at 5-1/2, which means you can see a tiny bit of the inside when it is shut.

MY RECIPE:

STAMPS:  Bird’s Eye View, Best Family Ever

     CARDSTOCK:

          Crumb Cake:  4-1/4 x 9-3/4, scored at 5-1/2

          Lost Lagoon:  4 x 4

          Inked Botanicals DSP:  3-7/8 x 3-7/8

          SCRAPS:  Basic White, Lost Lagoon

          INSIDE:

               Lost Lagoon:  4 x 5-1/4

               Basic White:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8

               Subtles DSP:  1-1/2 x 3-7/8

      INK:  Early Espresso

BLENDS:  Granny Apple Green, Lost Lagoon, Pebbled Path (L), Daffodil Delight (D)

     DIES:  Radiating Stitches Dies

MISCELLANEOUS:  SU Die Cut Machine, Rhinestones, Dimensionals

And a look at the inside of the card:

I stamped the leaves in two corners of the inside panel and colored them with the Granny Apple Green Blends markers (my favorite markers).

HOW I MADE IT:

1.  Use Early Espresso ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Adhere patterned paper to right side of Basic White Cardstock; adhere to Lost Lagoon Cardstock; adhere panel to inside of card base.

3.  Adhere patterned paper to Lost Lagoon Cardstock.  Adhere panel to front of card base.

4.  Stamp tree limb using Early Espresso ink; stamp leaves at end of branch using Early Espresso ink, and stamp bird on branch using Early Espresso ink on scrap of Basic White Cardstock.

5.  Cut out stamped images using die and SU Die Cut Machine.

6.  Use Early Espresso ink to stamp sentiment on upper right corner of die cut image.  Color images using markers.

7.  Adhere stamped image to Lost Lagoon Cardstock.

8.  Attach stamped panel to front of card base using dimensionals.

9.  Add rhinestones (see sample for placement).

I hope your day is filled with sunshine and a bit of time for stamping!

Happy stamping,

Linda
