GIFT OF HOPE EASTER CARD CASE!

 Hi, Friends,

Despite my good intentions, I seem to keep perpetually behind!  I really wanted to post this card, so even though it is way past Easter, I will go ahead!

This was probably my favorite of the Easter cards I sent out this year.  I CASED this card from one of my favorite Stampin' Up! demos, Lyssa Zwolanek (songofmyheartstampers.com, post dated 3-9-21).

Here is my recipe for the card:

STAMPS:  Gift of Hope

CARDSTOCK:
     Pear Pizzazz:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
     Highland Heather:  3-3/4 x 5
     Basic White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8
          SCRAPS:  Highland Heather, Basic White
               INSIDE:
                    Highland Heather:  3-3/4 x 5
                    Basic White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

INK:  Pear Pizzazz, Highland Heather

BLENDS:  Highland Heather (L), Old Olive (L)

ACCESSORIES:  Layering Ovals Dies, Stampin' Up! Die Cut Machine, Pearls, Dimensionals

The inside looks like this:

HOW I MADE IT:

1.  Use Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Stamp partial image of flower stamp using Pear Pizzazz ink on lower right corner of inside panel.  Color using markers.  Use "dot" stamp (mine was a random stamp I had on my desk) to lightly stamp "dots" around image using Highland Heather ink.

3.  Adhere inside images together; adhere to inside of card base.

4.  Use Pear Pizzaz ink to stamp flower image on Basic White panel.  Use Smoky Slate ink to stamp church image.  HINT:  I used my Stamparatus to line up my images to make it easier!  Use Highland Heather to randomly stamp "dots".  Use markers to color flower images.

5.  Adhere stamped Basic White panel to Highland Heather panel.  Adhere to front of card base.

6.  Stamp sentiment on scrap of Basic White cardstock.  Cut out using die from Layering Ovals dies and SU Die Cut Machine.

7.  Cut scalloped oval from Highland Heather cardstock using Layering Ovals dies and SU Die Cut Machine.

8.  Adhere stamped sentiment to scalloped die cut.  Attach to front of card base using dimensionals.

9.  Add pearls (see sample for placement).

I hope you enjoyed this very late post!  I will be posting the cards we made at Play Day a couple of weeks ago this week.

Hope you are able to find some time to create something today!

Happy stamping,
Linda
