Painted Petals April Play Day Project!

Hi, Friends,
Today I am sharing with you a project from April Play Day which uses Painted Petals and I Love Lace Stamps:

This project was CASED from Laura Kant, http://laurascreativemoments.blogspot.nl/2015/03/thinking-of-you.html (post dated March 21, 2015). I honestly didn't change much, it was such a beautiful card!

Here is my recipe:

STAMPS:  Painted Petals, I Love Lace

CARDSTOCK:
     Baked Brown Sugar:  4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2
     Pear Pizzazz:  3-3/4 x 5
     Birthday Bash DSP:  1 x 4-1/4
     Whisper White:  2-3/4 x 4
     SCRAPS:  Whisper White
     INSIDE:
          Night of Navy:  3-3/4 x 5
          Whisper White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

INK:  Pear Pizzazz, Night of Navy, Baked Brown Sugar, Melon Mambo

ACCESSORIES:  1-3/8 Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Sponge, Stamp-a-majig, Paper Snips, Spiral Border Edge Punch, Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine

BYOP Daydream Medallions Gift Card Holder

Hi, Friends,
Today I am sharing with you a gift card holder we made at April Play Day:


Here is the inside of the gift card holder as we made it at Play Day:


The gift card fit in the cutout area left from the Deco Label Framelits die.  I wasn't extremely happy with the way the gift card fit in this version, so after Play Day I "played" around with it a bit and came up with this, which I like a lot better:


I took a Number 1 Coin Envelope (buy them at office supply store) and cut off the flap and punched part of a 1" circle punch out to make it easier to get the gift card out.  Here is a close up of the envelope:

          Calypso Coral:  3-3/4 x 5
          Whisper White:  3-4/8 x 4-7/8

INK:  Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry
