TIDINGS AND TRIMMINGS CHRISTMAS CARD!

 Hi, Friends,

I missed posting a card for you yesterday; been busy trying to finish up Christmas cards!  Last night was the Red Bank Baptist Church Orchestra Christmas concert and it was amazing!  That is my favorite Christmas activity—it is nice to just sit back and relax and listen to music for a while!

Anyway, I have another card to share today:

This card uses the beautiful Tidings of Christmas DSP, a 6 x 6 paper pack available from the Annual Catalog.  The picture doesn’t really do this card justice.

RECIPE:

     STAMPS:  Tidings and Trimmings

     CARDSTOCK:

          Crumb Cake:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4

          Cherry Cobbler:  3-3/4 x 5

          Tidings of Christmas DSP:  3-5/8 x 3-5/8

          Tidings of Christmas DSP:  1-1/2 x 3-5/8

SCRAPS:  Basic White, Soft Succulent, Cherry Cobbler

               INSIDE:

                    Cherry Cobbler:  3-3/4 x 5

                    Basic White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

INK:  Evening Evergreen

BLENDS:  Soft Succulent (L)

ACCESSORIES:  Stitched Shapes Dies (Retired), Circles Layering Dies, Ornate Layering Dies, SU Die Cut Machine, Gilded Gems, Dimensionals

HOW I MADE IT:

1.  Use Evening Evergreen ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Stamp leaf on lower right corner of inside panel using Evening Evergreen ink.  Color using marker.

3.  Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.

4.  Adhere patterned paper to Cherry Cobbler Cardstock.  Adhere Cherry Cobbler die cut at seam.  Adhere panel to front of card base.

5.  Stamp sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink on scrap of Basic White Cardstock.  Cut out using die and SU Die Cut Machine.

6.  Adhere sentiment to Soft Succulent scalloped circle die cut.

7.  Attach sentiment circle to front of card base using dimensionals.

8.  Add Gilded Gems (see sample for placement).

The inside is simple, just a simple leaf colored with the Soft Succulent Blend!

Hope your holiday preparations are going well!  Here is a picture I took of the orchestra last night:

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy stamping,
Linda
