DELIVERING CHEER CHRISTMAS CARD!

 Hi, Friends,

I am sharing another Christmas card with you today, one that uses the stamp set DELIVERING CHEER.   This card was inspired by one I saw made by my friend, Sandy Carlson (swap pictured on dostamping.typepad.com, post dated 8/5/21).

MY RECIPE:

     CARDSTOCK:

          Crumb Cake:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4

          Evening Evergreen:  4 x 5-1/4

          Pear Pizzazz:  3-7/8 x 3-7/8

          Painted Christmas DSP:  1-1/2 x 3-7/8

          Basic White:  2-1/4 x 4-1/2

          Evening Evergreen:  2-3/8 x 4-5/8

          Evening Evergreen:  3/8 x 3-7/8

               SCRAPS:  Crumb Cake

               INSIDE:

                    Evening Evergreen:  3-3/4 x 5

                    Basic White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

     INK:  Early Espresso

BLENDS:  Real Red (D), Old Olive, Evening Evergreen (L), Ivory, Petal Pink (D)

ACCESSORIES:  Give It A Whirl Dies, Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, SU Die Cut Machine, Linen Thread, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals

I like the way you can change up this stamp set, with the different objects to put in the girls’ hands and the different clothing options.

The inside of the card looks like this:

HOW I MADE MY CARD:

1.  Use Early Espresso ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Stamp packages on bottom right corner of inside panel using Early Espresso ink.  Color using markers.

3.  Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.

4.  Adhere embossed panel and patterned paper to Evening Evergreen Cardstock.  Adhere strip of Even ing Evergreen Cardstock to seam.  Tie linen thread around Evening Evergreen strip.

5.  Adhere panel to front of card base.

6.  Stamp focal images on Basic White Cardstock.  Color using markers.

7.  Adhere stamped panel to Evening Evergreen Cardstock.

8.  Attach stamped panel to front of card base using dimensionals.

9.  Stamp sentiment on scrap of Crumb Cake Cardstock.  Cut out using die cut and SU Die Cut Machine.

10.  Attach sentiment panel to front of card base using dimensionals and adhesive.

11.  Add red rhinestones to tree (see sample for placement).

Our kitties are doing well; they (especially Zoe) take long naps during the afternoon.  I actually gave up some valuable real estate in the craft room so that they could be comfortable spending time with me while I craft:

Hope you are having a great day today and that you will stop by soon to see what is going on in my craft room!

Happy stamping,

Linda
