SNOW WONDER CHRISTMAS CARD!

Hi, Friends,

Today has been a busy one—lots still to do before Saturday!  But I did get two or three major items on my to-do list crossed off, so that is progress!  Hope you are doing well with whatever you need to get finished.

I am sharing yet another Christmas card today.  This one uses the stamp set, Snow Wonder.  We made it as one of the projects for November Play Day, and then it was on my last two card buffets.  Although this stamp set was available last year, I did not purchase it until this year.  It is an awesome set in that it is easy to color and actually a fast project, especially for one that is colored with markers.  I like the way that it looks blended after you color it, too.

I used the snowflake design from the Peaceful Place DSP.  There isn’t a good way to show it in the picture, but the snowflakes are all shimmery and make the card look really awesome!

MY RECIPE:

     STAMPS:  Snow Wonder

     CARDSTOCK:

           Basic Gray:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4

           Smoky Slate:  4 x 5-1/4

           Peaceful Place DSP:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8

               SCRAPS:  Basic White, Smoky Slate

               INSIDE:

                    Smoky Slate:  3-3/4 x 5

                    Basic White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

     INK:  Memento Black

BLENDS:  Pumpkin Pie (D), Real Red (D), Old Olive (D), Smoky Slate (L)

ACCESSORIES:  Stitched Rectangle Dies, Pretty Pillow Box Dies, SU Die Cut Machine, Rhinestones, Dimensionals

On the inside, I stamped the wreath in Memento Black ink and colored it with Blends Markers:

HOW I MADE THE CARD:

1.  Use Memento Black ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Stamp wreath using Memento Black ink on lower right corner of inside panel.  Color using markers.

3.  Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.

4.  Adhere patterned paper to Smoky Slate Cardstock.  Adhere to front of card base.

5.  Stamp snowman using Memento Black ink on scrap of Basic White Cardstock.  Color using markers.  Cut out using die and SU Die Cut Machine.

6.  Attach snowman panel to front of card base using dimensionals.

7.  Stamp sentiment using Memento Black ink on scrap of Smoky Slate Cardstock.  Cut out using die and SU Die Cut Machine.

8.  Adhere sentiment to snowman.

9.  Add rhinestones (see sample for placement).

We bought the girls (the kittens) a new “climber” that they have really enjoyed.  Here is a picture of Chloe sitting on it:

Hope you enjoyed my project for today!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy stamping,

Linda
