ANGELS OF PEACE CHRISTMAS CARD!

 Hi, Friends,

Christmas is upon us and I do not have all of my Christmas cards posted (I have several to post yet)!  This year, most of my Christmas card projects were on my card buffets, so you may not have seen some of them.  My Angels of Peace card is one of my favorite cards!

I love the soft colors, the Wink of Stella on the angel wings, and the fact that the card uses the beautiful Whimsey and Wonder Designer Series Paper!

MY RECIPE:

STAMPS:  Angels of Peace, Itty Bitty Christmas (Retired)

     CARDSTOCK:
          Mint Macaron:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
          Old Olive:  4 x 5-1/4
          Whimsey and Wonder DSP:  3-7/8 x 3-7/8
          Whimsey and Wonder DSP:  1-1/2 x 3-7/8
          Basic White:  2-1/4 x 3-3/8
               SCRAPS:  Old Olive
               INSIDE:
                    Old Olive:  3-3/4 x 5
                    Basic White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

     INK:  Memento Black, Mint Macaron

BLENDS:  Mint Macaron (L), Old Olive (D), Soft Suede (L), Petal Pink (D), Flirty Flamingo (L), Ivory

ACCESSORIES:  Stitched So Sweetly Dies, SU Die Cut Machine, Elegant Faceted Gems, Wink of Stella, Fine Art Ribbon

HOW I MADE IT:

1.  Use Mint Macaron ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Stamp sentiment at center top of inside panel using Mint Macaron ink.

3.  Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.

4.  Adhere patterned paper to Old Olive Cardstock.  Adhere ribbon at seam.  Adhere ends of ribbon to back of panel.

5.  Adhere panel to front of card base.

6.  Use Mint Macaron ink to stamp sentiment at bottom of Basic White panel.

7.  Stamp angel image using Memento black ink on Basic White panel.  Color using markers.

8.  Adhere stamped image to scalloped Old Olive die cut.

9.  Attach stamped panel to card front using dimensionals.

10.  Add Wink of Stella to angel wings.

11.  Add Elegant Faceted Gems to front of card base (see sample for placement).

Here is what the inside of the card looks like:

For those of you who didn’t see the Facebook post, we have officially adopted the two sweet kittens, Zoe and Chloe!  Here is a family picture:

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see the Angels of Peace project!

Happy stamping,
Lindah
