Reason for the Season/Perfect Pine Framelits Projects!

Hi, Friends,
It is the day AFTER Thanksgiving, I think I finally found the last bit of flour on the countertop and cleaned it up and I think my kitchen is officially closed for a few days!  Today I am sharing with you another project we made as a Make and Take at the Salvation Army Angel Tree Crop in August:

and the inside of the card:

I had several of these cut out but not assembled, left over from the Make and Take.  As I as putting them together (to make for some personal Christmas cards) I decided that they looked just a little plain (it isn't unusual for me to change things up a bit after the fact) and decided to try using an embossing folder on the Very Vanilla portion up around the tree.  I rather liked the result:

Here is my recipe for this card:

Reason for the Season September Play Day Project!

Hi, Friends,

It is the day before Thanksgiving and I just took two pies out of the oven, one pumpkin, one cherry!  The house smells wonderful!  I make my pies thick and deep, like my Dad liked--if a pie was too thin he called it a "jam" pie!

Today I am sharing the fourth project from September Play Day, which uses the stamp set Reason for the Season.  Here is our card:

and the inside:

We stamped the poinsettia onto the Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler card stock, then added color with the "background" stamps in the set.  Then we cut out one set of leaves, a big flower (which was adhered to the leaves), then a "center" of the flower which was popped up with dimensionals.  The poinsettia was adhered to the tag with dimensionals, and the tag was also adhered to the card with dimensionals.

This card is a CASE of one by Michele Reynolds (inspirationink.typepad.com, post dated August 24, 2015).  Here is the recipe for my card:
