Life's Adventure Lever Card Convention Swap!

Happy Sunday, Friends!

This morning I am sharing a card I made for Donna Pelon's Fun Folds Swap at Stampin Up!'s 2014 Convention in Salt Lake City.  I like to participate in a Fun Fold Swap every year, just to make a crazy card that I normally wouldn't make.  I used a tutorial for a Lever Card from Splitcoaststampers, I believe it was by Laura Lipe.  Go to their tutorial page and search for Lever Card and it should magically appear!


It is really hard to get just one good picture of a Lever Card, so I am using several pictures today to show you the whole card!  This is what the front of the card looks like when it is folded flat:

Another view from the side.  You can see that there is a nice panel to sign at the back of the card.  



I like this fold because it sits so nice on a table or shelf.  I used the Hostess set "Life's Adventure" and the "And Many More . . ." stamp set.  I used Basic Black Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, and Back to Black Designer Series Paper to make this card.

Kinda Eclectic August Play Day Project CASE!

Our third project from August Play Day is a card made with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set:


This card is CASED from Jenny M. Peterson (see her blog post dated July 17, 2014, lakeshorestamping.com).  I loved the way she used the Deco Label framelits to make the frame--use the two smallest framelits at the same time on a piece of Lost Lagoon!

The inside of the card looks like this:

     Crumb Cake:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
     Lost Lagoon:  4 x 5-1/4
     Mossy Meadow:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8
     Whisper White:  3-3/4 x 5
     Hello Hoey:  1/2 x 2-1/2
     INSIDE:
          Lost Lagoon:  3-3/4 x 5
          Whisper White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8
     SCRAPS:  Lost Lagoon, Whisper White

INK;  Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, Soft Suede

ACCESSORIES:  Deco Label Framelits, Big Shot, Sponge, Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Paper Snips, Bitty Butterfly Punch
