Thoughts and Prayers DDC January Play Day Project

Today I am sharing with you a project we made at DDC January Play Day using the Thoughts and Prayers and Heartfelt Sympathy stamp sets:

     Crumb Cake:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
     Basic Black:  4 x 5-1/4
     Typeset DSP:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8
     Pretty Petals DSP:  1 x 3-3/4
     SCRAPS:  Very Vanilla, Basic Black
     INSIDE:
          Basic Black:  4 x 5-1/4
          Very Vanilla:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8

INK:  Memento Black, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand

ACCESSORIES:  1-1/2 Circle Punch, 1-3/4 Circle Scallop Punch, Triple Banner Punch, 2 Circle Punch, 2-3/8 Circle Scallop Punch, Dimensionals, Very Vanilla Candy Dot

March Play Day Project

We made four cards at our March Play Day, all of which were Sympathy, Thinking of You type cards.  I almost totally CASED this card from Ruth Norton (whose card can be found at http://ruthsstampincorner.blogspot.com/2011/02/easter-wishes.html).  Her card is a CASE of Brandi Wiggins-Cote.  Here is my card:

I love the simplicity of this card, which could easily be any other type of card (Birthday, Get Well, etc.).  I think it would make a good card set to make as a gift for someone.  Here is my card recipe:

CARDSTOCK: 
     Pretty in Pink:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
     Rose Red:  3-3/4 x 5
     Whisper White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8
     Scraps:  Whisper White, Miscellaneous (to punch circle template out of)
INK:  Pretty in Pink, Old Olive, Basic Black, Rose Red
ACCESSORIES:  Sponge, 2-3/8 Circle Punch, Dimensionals
