January Play Day Project Four: Hey, Valentine Mini Treat Bag!

Today I am sharing with you the fourth project from January Play Day, a fun project using Hey, Valentine stamp set and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits:


The Mini Treat Bag is an awesome size, just big enough to hold a full size Hershey's candy bar.  Here is my recipe for this project:

STAMPS:  Hey, Valentine

CARDSTOCK:
     Baked Brown Sugar:  1 sheet 8-1/2 x 11 to make one bag
     Stacked With Love DSP:  1-3/4 x 3-5/8
     Daffodil Delight:  3/4 x 3-5/8 (2)
     SCRAPS:  Whisper White, Real Red

INK:  Memento Black

MARKERS:  Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede

ACCESSORIES:  Scallop Edge Border Punch, Real Red 1/4 Cotton Ribbon, Whisper White 1/4 Cotton Ribbon, Dimensionals, Handheld Stapler, Sticky Strip, Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Bone Folder

Lotus Blossom January Play Day Project!

Hi, Friends,
Today I am sharing a project we made at January Play Day:


The inside of the card was kept simple:


I love the color combination of Coastal Cabana and Island Indigo, and the Lotus Blossom flower looks beautiful in those colors!  Here is my recipe:

STAMPS:  Lotus Blossom

CARDSTOCK:
     Island Indigo:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
     Island Indigo:  4 x 5-1/4
     Maritime DSP:  3-1/2 x 3-7/8
     All Abloom DSP Stack:  1-1/2 x 3-7/8
     Island Indigo:  2-1/8 x 4-1/8
     Whisper White:  2 x 4
     INSIDE:
          Coastal Cabana:  3-3/4 x 5
          Whisper White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

INK:  Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo, Old Olive

ACCESSORIES:  1/4 Island Indigo Cotton Ribbon, Dimensionals

You and Me Card, January 2014 Play Day Project!

Hi, Friends,
Today I am sharing with you the second project we made at January Play Day last Saturday, using the You and Me stamp set from the new Occasions Mini catalog:


I really love the ampersand sign stamp and liked the way it looked with something stamped on top of it.  My recipe for this card:

STAMPS:  You and Me

CARDSTOCK:
     Crumb Cake:  4-1/4 x 5-1/4
     Crisp Cantaloupe:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8
     Whisper White:  3-3/4 x 5
     Stacked with Love DSP:  3-3/4 x 3-3/4, put into paper trimmer, line one side up at
          approximately 1", the other at the corner to cut the diagonal
     Basic Black:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8
     Whisper White:  3-3/4 x 5

INK:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Memento Black

ACCESSORIES:  Envelope Punch Board (for corner rounder), Stacked With Love Washi Tape, Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker's Twine, Paper Snips, Dimensionals
