Beauty of the Season (Christmas in August)!

It really doesn't seem like we should be making Christmas cards yet, but it really is time!  Here is a card we made as a project for August Play Day:


The inside of the card looks like this:


We heat embossed the bird image (and the sentiment inside) with Early Espresso embossing powder, then colored the bird image with an Aqua Painter and classic ink from various colors.  It doesn't show in the picture, but the heat embossing really makes the card beautiful!

CARDSTOCK:
     Soft Suede:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
     Soft Suede:  4 x 5-1/4
     Naturals White:  4-1/4 x 5-1/2
     INSIDE:
          Cherry Cobbler:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8
          Naturals White:  3-1/2 x 4-3/4
     SCRAPS:  Naturals White

INK:  Versamark, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, So Saffron, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand
