Chalk Talk Gusseted Pouch Treat Holder CASE!

Today I am sharing our fourth project from August Play Day:

The side view of this project:

It is big enough for a small candy bar or a small gift.  This pouch contains two Hershey's Nuggets, which were wrapped with DSP:

To make the gusseted pouch, I followed the directions I found on Lisa Althouse' blog, lastamper.blogspot.com, in her blog post dated July 17, 2014.  She has a video, so grab a 6 x 6 piece of DSP and follow the instructions!

Start with a 6 x 6 piece of DSP of your choice.  Line it up at 2-1/4 on the Envelope Punch Board, punch and score.  Move your paper over to 3-1/4 on the Envelope Punch Board, punch and score.

Turn your DSP 90 degrees, line up the first score line with the little pointy guide, punch and score.  Line up the second score line with the guide and PUNCH ONLY, don't score.

Turn your DSP 90 degrees, and repeat the punch and score at 2-1/4 and 3-1/4.

Turn your DSP 90 degrees, line up the first score line, punch and score.  Line up with the second score line and PUNCH ONLY, don't score.

Fold your score lines, burnish with a bone folder and adhere to form the pouch.  Decorate as desired.

To keep the little pouch closed, I used two of the mini-Velcro dots underneath the flags.

The nuggets are covered with strips of coordinating DSP that measure 1 x 3 inches.

I used the "I'm so grateful" oval stamp from the Chalk Talk stamp set, punched it out with the extra-large Oval Punch and attached it with dimensionals.  I also used the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder to emboss the Daffodil Delight flag.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy stampin and scrappin,
Linda
