JUST MY TYPE SWAP CARD!

 Hi, Friends,

Today I want to share with you a card I made for a monthly card swap I am in.  I used the Just My Type stamp set and Delightfully Eclectic DSP, one of my favorite papers this year!

MY RECIPE:

     STAMPS:  Just My Type

     CARDSTOCK:

          Night of Navy 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4

          Bubble Gum 4 x 5-1/4

          Delightfully Eclectic DSP 2-3/4 x 5-1/8

          Delightfully Eclectic DSP 1-1/2 x 5-1/8

               SCRAPS:  Basic White

               INSIDE:

                    Bubble Gum 3-3/4 x 5

                    Basic White 3-5/8 x 4-7/8

INK:  Night of Navy, Bubble Gum

BLENDS:  Daffodil Delight (D), Bubble Gum (D), Misty Moonlight (L)

     DIES:  Stylish Shapes Dies

MISCELLANEOUS:  SU Die Cut Machine, Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals

And here is the inside of the card:

It is a little busier than I usually make a card, but I wanted to use the sentiment and the rainbow!

HOW I MADE IT:

1.  Use Night of Navy ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Stamp sentiment toward the left top of the inside panel using Night of Navy ink.  Also using Night of Navy ink, stamp the rainbow to the right of the sentiment.  Color using markers.

3.  Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.

4.  Adhere patterned paper to Bubble Gum Cardstock.  Wrap Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon around “seam” of patterned paper and tie in knot.  Trim ends.

5.  Adhere panel to card base.

6.  Use Night of Navy ink to stamp typewriter on scrap of Basic White Cardstock.  Stamp “paper/sentiment” at top of typewriter using Night of Navy ink.  Use Bubble Gum ink to stamp heart over sentiment.  Cut out using Stylish Shapes Die and SU Die Cut Machine.

7.  Attach die cut stamped image to the left side of the card base front using dimensionals.

8.  Add rhinestones (see sample for placement).

After you finish your card, mail it to a friend!  I think we all have cards that we are holding onto, and probably should be mailing them out to brighten people’s day!

Hope you enjoyed today’s project!  Stop by soon to see what I am working on!

Happy stamping,

Linda
