JUST MY TYPE JUNE 2023 PLAY DAY!

 Hi, Friends,

I have a cute card project using the Just My Type stamp set today.  We made it at June 2023 Play Day.  I love how whimsical the stamps from this set are, and it combines nicely with the paper from Delightfully Eclectic DSP!

One quick tip:  when you are stamping something like this focal image with flowers and sentiment, add both stamps to the same block.  That way, they are lined up perfectly and are much easier to stamp than if you try to line up two separate stamps!

MY RECIPE:

     STAMPS:  Just My Type

     CARDSTOCK:

          Night of Navy 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4

          Bubble Bath 4 x 5-1/4

          Delightfully Eclectic DSP 3-7/8 x 3-7/8

          Delightfully Eclectic DSP 1-1/2 x 3-7/8

          SCRAPS:  Basic White

          INSIDE:

               Bubble Bath 3-3/4 x 5

               Basic White 3-5/8 x 4-7/8

     INK:  Night of Navy

BLENDS:  Misty Moonlight (L), Daffodil Delight (D), Bubble Bath (D), Fresh Freesia (L)

     DIES:  Stylish Shapes Dies

MISCELLANEOUS:  SU Die Cut Machine, Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon, Dimensionals, Rhinestones

HOW WE MADE IT:

1.  Use Night of Navy ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Stamp rainbow on lower right corner of inside panel using Night of Navy ink.  Color using markers.

3.  Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.

4.  Adhere patterned paper to top of Bubble Gum Cardstock; adhere striped paper to bottom of Bubble Bath Cardstock.

5.  Tie ribbon around seam of patterned paper.

6.  Adhere panel to front of card base.

7.  Use Night of Navy ink to stamp focal image on scrap of Basic White Cardstock.  Cut out using die and SU Die Cut Machine.  Color flowers and leaves using markers.

8.  Attach flower image to front of card base using dimensionals.

9.  Add rhinestones (see sample for placement).

On the inside, we stamped the rainbow and colored it in using markers.

Thanks so much for stopping in today!  I hope you liked today’s project!

Happy stamping,

Linda
