Hi, Friends,
Stopping by today to share with you the card I made for a swap I participate in every month. It uses the Crafting With Me stamp set and dies. I absolutely LOVE the paper cutter! So I decided to use it when I made my swap card for May!
Isn’t it cute, the way you can insert the paper into the cutter!
MY RECIPE:
STAMPS: Crafting With Me
CARDSTOCK:
Gray Granite: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
Night of Navy: 4 x 5-1/4
Basic White: 3-7/8 x 3-7/8
Countryside Inn DSP: 1-1/2 x 3-7/8
Night of Navy: 3/8 x 3-7/8
SCRAPS: Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue
INSIDE:
Night of Navy: 3-3/4 x 5
Basic White: 3-5/8 x 4-7/8
INK: Balmy Blue, Night of Navy
DIES: Crafting With You Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies
EMBOSSING FOLDER: Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder
MISCELLANEOUS: SU Die Cut Machine, Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack, Pearls, Dimensionals
For the inside, I simply stamped the larger flower image in Balmy Blue ink and added a few small pearls to the center of the flowers.
HOW I MADE IT:
1. Use Night of Navy ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card.
2. Stamp large flower image using Balmy Blue ink on lower right corner of the inside panel.
3. Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.
4. Add pearls to three flowers.
5. Add Basic White Cardstock to top of Night of Navy Cardstock; add Countryside Inn DSP to bottom of Night of Navy Cardstock. Adhere strip of Night of Navy Cardstock at seam. Tie Gray Baker’s Twine from Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack around the Night of Navy strip.
6. Adhere panel to front of card base.
7. Use Night of Navy ink to stamp sentiment on scrap of Balmy Blue Cardstock.
8. Stamp small flowers on upper left corner and lower right corner of sentiment on Balmy Blue Cardstock scrap. Tear right end of Balmy Blue Cardstock to add texture.
9. Place sentiment panel under bar of die cut paper cutter and adhere in place.
10. Adhere sentiment panel/die cut paper cutter to Gray Granite circle die cut.
11. Adhere die cut blade to die cut paper cutter.
12. Attach the focal point circle to the front of card base using dimensionals.
I love the way this card turned out! The colors go together so well, and I love being able to use die cuts of my crafting tools to make a card.
Hope you enjoyed my project today!
Happy stamping,
Linda
