Hi, Friends,
I have a few minutes, so will share the third card we made at January Play Day. The card uses the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set.
It is a nice card for spring, both with the colors and the rain boots and flowers!
MY RECIPE:
STAMP SETS: Flowering Rain Boots
CARDSTOCK:
Pool Party: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
Granny Apple Green: 4 x 5-1/4
Hand-Penned DSP: 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
SCRAPS: Basic White
INSIDE:
Granny Apple Green: 3-3/4 x 5
Basic White: 3–5/8 x 4-7/8
INK: Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo
DIES: Rain Boots Dies, Scalloped Contour Dies
ACCESSORIES: Rhinestones
The inside of the card looks like this:
HOW I MADE IT:
1. Use Pool Party ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.
2. Stamp leaves using Granny Apple Green ink on lower right corner of inside panel.
3. Use Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp tulips on scrap of Basic White Cardstock. Cut out using die and SU Die Cut machine.
4. Adhere tulips to leaves on inside panel. Cut excess blooms off even with inside panel using paper snips.
5. Adhere inside panels together. Adhere to inside of card base.
6. Adhere patterned DSP to Granny Apple Green Cardstock. Adhere panel to front of card base.
7. Stamp boots using Pool Party ink toward lower left corner of a scrap of Basic White Cardstock. Cut out using Scalloped Contour die and SU Die Cut machine. Make sure boots are low enough so that you have room to add the leaves and flower.
8. Use Granny Apple Green ink to stamp sentiment on the die cut next to boots.
9. Adhere die cut to front of card base.
10. Stamp leaves using Granny Apple Green ink on scrap of Basic White Cardstock. Cut out using die cut and SU Die Cut Machine. Adhere leaves to top of boots.
11. Use Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp tulips on scrap of Basic White Cardstock. Cut out using die and SU Die Cut Machine. Adhere tulips to top of leaves.
12. Add rhinestones; see sample for placement.
I hope you enjoyed this project!
Happy stamping,
Linda
