WORDS OF CHEER CHRISTMAS CARD!

 Hi Crafty Friends,

I am at the last day of the Salvation Army Angel Tree Crop.  It has been a fun couple of days with my friends, raising money for the Angel Tree coming up this Christmas!

One of the cards I had on the card buffet at the crop is my second Christmas card for 2021!  It uses the Words of Cheer stamp set.

This was the first set that really caught my eye in the July-December Mini Catalog, and was a really fun card to make!

MY RECIPE:

     STAMPS:  Words of Cheer

     CARDSTOCK:
          Crumb Cake:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
          Old Olive:  4 x 5-1/4
          Heartwarming Hugs DSP:  3-7/8 x 5-1/8
          SCRAPS:  Basic White
          INSIDE:
               Old Olive:  3-3/4 x 5
               Basic White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

     INK:  Early Espresso

BLENDS:  Real Red, Crumb Cake (D), Old Olive (D), Mossy Meadow (D)

ACCESSORIES:  Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Christmas Cheer Dies, SU Die Cut Machine, Pearls,
Wink of Stella, Dimensionals

The inside of the card looks like this:

HOW I MADE IT:

1.  Use Early Espresso ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.

2.  Stamp corner of flower stamp on lower right corner of inside panel using Early Espresso ink.

3.  Color using markers; add Wink of Stella to red flowers.

4.  Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.

5.  Adhere patterned paper to Old Olive Cardstock; adhere to front of card base.

6.  Stamp sentiment at bottom of Basic White die cut using Early Espresso ink.  Attach panel to front of card base using dimensionals.

7.  Use Early Espresso ink to stamp flower image on scrap of Basic White Cardstock.  Color using markers.  Add Wink of Stella to red flowers.

8.  Cut out flower image using die cut and SU Die Cut Machine.

9.  Attach flower image to front of card base using dimensionals.

10.  Add pearls (see sample for placement).

It seems funny to be sharing Christmas cards in September, but if you are making your own Christmas cards, it takes a bit of time!

I hope you are having a great weekend, and have a little time to spend crafting!

Happy stamping,
Linda
