One of the first sets to catch my eye in the new catalog was the Nothings Better Than stamp set. I fell in love with the retro coffee cup! I also love that it has an option for chocolate! Anyway, when I was coming up with cards to send out with the new catalog, I decided this would be a good choice. Here is what I came up with:
I saw a similar card on Pinterest and decided to try to recreate it.
MY RECIPE:
STAMPS: Nothings Better Than, Swirly Frames
CARDSTOCK:
Soft Suede: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
Blushing Bride: 4 x 5-1/4
Whisper White: 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
SCRAPS: Whisper White
INSIDE:
Blushing Bride: 3-3/4 X 5
Whisper White: 3-5/8 x 4-7/8
INK: Soft Suede, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, So Saffron
ACCESSORIES: Love You More Than Dies, Magnetic Platform, Big Shot, Dimensionals, Rhinestones
Here is a closer picture of the coffee cups. They were stamped in Soft Suede, then "filled in" with the solid stamp using the Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, and So Saffron inks. The cups were cut out using the coffee cup die from the Love You More Than Dies and Big Shot.
HOW I MADE IT:
1. Using Scoreboard, score the card base at 4-1/4. Fold and burnish with bone folder.
2. Using Soft Suede ink, stamp signature stamp on the back of the card base.
3. Stamp sentiment on upper left corner of inside panel using Soft Suede ink. Use Soft Suede ink to stamp coffee cup and steam. Use solid stamp to fill in the coffee cup with Pear Pizzazz ink.
4. Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.
5. Use Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, and Pool Party ink to stamp square frames on front Whisper White cardstock panel. Stamp sentiment using Soft Suede ink on lower right corner of the panel.
6. Adhere front panels together; adhere to front of card base.
7. On scrap of Whisper White cardstock, use Soft Suede ink to stamp five coffee cups. Use solid stamp to fill in the colors on the coffee cup. Cut out using die from Love You More Than dies and Big Shot.
8. Attach coffee cups to front of card front using dimensionals.
9. Add rhinestones; see sample for placement.
Here is a picture of the inside of the card:

I hope you enjoyed my project today. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
