Hi, Friends,
Today I am sharing with you a project we made at our September Play Day using Perfectly Plaid stamp set and Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper, or DSP!
This card was fun to make and would be easy to make a bunch for all your friends at Christmas. The Toile Tidings DSP has lots of similar designs for the top part of the card, too, so one package will make a lot of cards.
The inside of the card looks like this:
Here is my recipe for this card:
STAMPS: Perfectly Plaid
CARDSTOCK:
Crumb Cake: 5-1//2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
Garden Green: 4 x 5-1/4
Toile Tidings DSP: 3-7/8 x 3-7/8
Toile Tidings DSP: 1-1/2 x 3-7/8
Garden Green: 1/2 x 3-7/8
SCRAPS: Very Vanilla, Garden Green
INSIDE:
Garden Green: 3-3/4 x 5
Very Vanilla: 3-5/8 x 4-7/8
INK: Garden Green
ACCESSORIES: Rectangle Stitched Dies, Magnetic Platform, Big Shot, Dimensionals, 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim (Very Vanilla), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Pine Tree Punch
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Use Garden Green ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.
2. Stamp sentiment using Garden Green ink on inside panel. Adhere inside panels together; adhere
to inside of card base.
3. Adhere Toile Tidings DSP to Garden Green cardstock. Adhere strip of Garden Green cardstock
at seam. Tie 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim around strip of Garden Green cardstock. Adhere to front
of card base.
4. Use Rectangle Stitched Dies and Big Shot to cut one rectangle from Very Vanilla cardstock (use
the fourth die from the center) and one rectangle from Garden Green cardstock (use the fifth die
from the center).
5. Use Garden Green ink to stamp sentiment on bottom of Very Vanilla stitched rectangle. Adhere
panel to Garden Green stitched rectangle. Attach to card front using dimensionals.
6. Stamp tree on scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock using Garden Green ink. Punch out using Pine Tree
Punch. Attach tree to card front using dimensionals.
7. Tie double bow using linen thread. Attach to top of tree trunk using a glue dot.
8. Add rhinestone (see picture for placement).
Hope you have a wonderful day today and find lots of time to craft!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy stamping,
Linda
Thanks for posting this card and the instructions. I want to try it with my group this year.
