August 2019 Play Day Project!

Hi, Stamping Friends,
Yesterday was Play Day at my house.  I have two sessions, one at 10:00 am and one at 2:00 pm.  I really enjoy Play Day as a time to be with my crafty friends and sharing some "paper sunshine" with them.  We had fun making four projects, and today I want to share the first one.

This card uses the Woven Heirlooms stamp set and really show off the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper and the yummy Terra-cotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon!  On the inside, we stamped a tiny flourish from the Woven Heirlooms Set with Seaside Spray ink.

HOW TO MAKE IT:

     STAMPS:  Woven Heirlooms

     CARDSTOCK:
          Seaside Spray 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
          Terracotta Tile 4 x 5-1/4
          Woven Threads DSP 3-7/8 x 3-7/8
          Woven Threads DSP 1-1/2 x 3-7/8
     SCRAPS:  Terracotta Tile, Whisper White
     INSIDE:
          Terracotta Tile 3-3/4 x 5
          Whisper White  3-5/8 x 4-7/8

     INK:  Seaside Spray

ACCESSORIES:  Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circles Layering Shapes, Magnetic Platform, Big             Shot, Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon, Linen Thread, Rhinestones, Dimensionals

STEPS:

1.  Use Seaside Spray ink to stamp signature stamp on back of card base.
2.  Stamp "flourish" on lower right corner of inside panel using Seaside Spray ink.
3.  Adhere inside panels together; adhere to inside of card base.
4.  Adhere printed paper to Terracotta Tile cardstock.  Adhere ribbon at "seam".  Tie linen thread around ribbon and tie in knot at right side.
4.  Adhere panel to front of card base.
5.  Use Seaside Spray ink to stamp sentiment on scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  Cut out using circle stitched framelit and Big Shot.
6.  Adhere sentiment to Terracotta Tile scalloped circle.  Attach to front of card base using dimensionals.
7.  Add rhinestones; see sample for placement.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you share some "paper sunshine" with your friends today!

Happy stamping,
Linda
