Got Treats? Birthday Card for February Play Day

We made this card for February Play Day, where we made four birthday cards.  I used this set to show its versatility, and considered it a card suitable for everyone, young and old!  Who wouldn't like to get a brightly colored birthday card with cupcakes on it?  I was trying to keep it simple, but would like to add some punched out flowers with a brad in the middle to the cupcake to dress it up a bit.  This card was greatly inspired by a card created by Jennie Maier on Stampin Connection, Stampin Up's demo web page.

     So Saffron 4--1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2

     Old Olive 1-1/2 x 4-1/4

     Tempting Turquoise 1-5/8 x 4-1/4

     Scraps:  Whisper White, Real Red

INK:  Real Red , Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive markers

ACCESSORIES:  1-1/4 Square Punch, Square Scallop Punch, 1/2" Real Red Striped Grograin Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Real Red Brads, Mat Pack, Paper Piercer, Dimensionals
