Something For Baby July Play Day Project!

Today I am sharing a baby card we made at July Play Day.  This card is made for a baby boy, but a quick change of colors could make a baby girl card easily, as the designer series paper comes in a "pink" combination, too!'

My recipe for this card:

STAMPS:  Something for Baby, A Fitting Occasion, Baby We've Grown

CARDSTOCK:
     Baked Brown Sugar:  5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4
     Coastal Cabana:  4 x 5-1/4
     Lullaby DSP:  3-1/2 x 3-7/8
     Lullaby DSP:  1-1/2 x 3-7/8
     INSIDE:
          Coastal Cabana:  3-3/4 x 5
          Whisper White:  3-5/8 x 4-7/8
SCRAPS:  Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana

INK:  Coastal Cabana, Hello Honey, Baked Brown Sugar

MARKER:  Coastal Cabana

ACCESSORIES:  Scallop Edge Border Punch, 2-1/2 Circle Punch, Starburst Framelits, Baby's First Framelits, Baked Brown Sugar Thick Bakers Twine, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Pierce Mat, Paper Piercing Tool, Big Shot, Dimensionals

The baby onesie is popped up on the circle with dimensionals, and the circle section is attached to the card base with dimensionals.  Here is a picture from the side:

and another view of the inside of the card:

Because the thick baker's twine is a touch bulky, I ran a strip of sticky strip on both sides of the front panel next to the Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine to keep it from gaping.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy stampin and scrappin,
Linda
