All Dressed Up Birthday Card

My sister's birthday is the day after my son's birthday, so normally she either gets a REALLY late card or something I have already stamped.  This year, though, I managed to get her card made and sent the day before her birthday.  I loved the way it turned out:

Puck Play Waterfall Birthday Card!

My son is a big hockey fan, his team is the Nashville Predators.  So I have been hunting for retired hockey stamps, since we have no current Stampin Up sets.  Last summer, I managed to snag a set called Puck Play, and recently made this card for my son's birthday.  My son was very impressed with the card, by the way!  He was also pleased that the Predators won their game on his birthday!  This is how the card looks closed:

The second flap open:

Third flap:

And all the way open:

I used a copy of an actual hockey ticket on the pull tab, fortunately I save stuff like that just in case!!!

I used Night of Navy and More Mustard to make the card, as close as I could come to Preds colors.

Thanks for stopping by!  Go Preds!

Happy stampin and scrappin,
Linda
