Charlotte, NC Regional Swap Card!

Here is another swap card that I made for the Regional SU Conference I attended last Saturday in Charlotte, NC. 

This card uses the new background stamp SUNFLOWER.  I really love the way this stamp looks, and the way the card turned out.

Here is my recipe:

STAMPS:  Sunflower, Tiny Tags

     Crumb Cake:  4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2
     First Edition DSP:  3-3/4 x 4-1/4
     More Mustard:  3-7/8 x 4-3/8
     Chocolate Chip:  4 x 4-1/2
     Very Vanilla:  1 x 8-1/2
     Scrap:  Very Vanilla

INK:  Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede

ACCESSORIES:  Eyelet Border Punch, Crimper, Sponge, Jewelry Tag Punch, Sponge Daubers, Color Spritzer, Sticky Tape, Soft Suede marker, Dimensionals, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack, Linen Thread

Another Swap Card!

This is the second swap card I created for a recent swap.  I used Connie Babbert's excellent tutorial for the Flip Card, which can be found at  Here is a picture of my card:

When you pull on the ribbon at the top, the tag pulls up the picture of the birds, owl and birdcage, revealing a small window with a sentiment in it--it is pretty awesome!  Here is what it looks like open:

     Melon Mambo:  4 x 5-1/4 (score and cut according to Flip Card tutorial)

     Scraps:  Brights Patterned Paper Stack
     Whisper White:  2-1/2 x 2-1/2
     Pumpkin Pie:  2-5/8 x 2-5/8
     Melon Mambo:  2-3/4 x 2-3/4
     Real Red:  2-7/8 x 2-7/8

INK:  Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Real Red

Snow Much Fun Swap Card!

This is a card I created for a Christmas card swap I recently participated in:

I just love the Funky Fold, and when I saw the tall snowman from the Snow Much Fun stamp set, I knew he was perfect for this card!
